HQ
Grandmaster (167)
Grandmaster in artificer armour,
with Sword of Secrets, Iron halo,
Boltpistol, Frag grenades.

Rhino Transport, Stormbolter,
Extra armour, smoke, searchlight.
The Grandmaster and his retinue pose a very strong close combat unit that is highly mobile. They have the capacity to move, deploy and lay down a withering hail of fire.

The grandmaster's sword of secrets and the standard bearer's powerfist provide a devastating combination in close assault.

The rhino APC, apart from providing mobility to the command retinue, can in it's own right be useful for controllng table quarters.
TOTAL = 1502 Points.

Four troop choices form the core of this 1500 point army, providing you with 30 Dark Angel spacemarines.

The two larger squads are the main line of defense, able to absorb casualties and lay down a storm of fire which would negate even the hardiest of personal armour.

The two smaller squads operate in support and are mainly tasked with sniping out enemy armour or high value individual units.

The dreadnought provides further mobile long range firepower along with the awesome close combat potential which allows it to be an effective counter charge unit, supporting the main battle line.


The single landspeeder can be a lone tank hunter as well as being able to rapidly crossfire enemy units or grab control of battlefield at the last possible moment.


The attack bike squadron is essentially a tank hunter team and mobile heavy support.

Heavy support is two fold. The whirlwind allows you to target enemy units from without line-of-sight. It's ability to pin the enemy and being an ordnance weapon is invaluable in dealing with horde armies.

The predator fulfills the mobile heavy support role. Its durable armour will soak up enemy firepower diverting it from your less armoured units. Its armament ensures a high probability of killing its targets.
